Using the latest in one shot 360 degree lens technology and state of the art
high resolution cameras, we can take a full 360 degree photo in just
one shot. Other companies take multiple shots and stitch them together
to produce the virtual tour panorama. This increases the photographers
time on site, and time in the studio which is in turn increases the
price. Also in the worst case you can see where the 360 degree virtual
tour image has been stitched together.

ideally suited for crowded scenes, in shops or tourist attractions,

Degree Virtual Tours Photography For Print Applications
The virtual tours deployed on the web or on multimedia cdroms are viewed in such
a way as to appaer as though you are immersed in the scene, looking arround as
though you're really there. A major alternative is the use of 360 degree virtual
tour photography in print applications, such as in brochures and leaflets.
The beauty of the 360 degree panoramas is that unlike the multimedia virtual
tours, you see the full 360 degrees at the same time. The applications of this
are immense, but one major example is photography of a football pitch. Bolton
Wanderers Football Club had a 360 degree panorama taken from the centre of the
pitch which shows off the whole of the ground in one stunning image. This 360
degree panorama image using the new high resolution technology can easily be
printed onto canvas at a size of over 1 metre with no loss of quality! |
| Another example which is rather unique is
360 degree panoramas taken at events such as weddings. During an
event held at Liverpool Town Hall, the camera was placed in the
centre of the circular tables and we were able to photograph everyone
sat at the table all at the same time which when printed made perfect
mementos of the occasion. |

to add more value to a multimedia cdrom such as the sales presenter
cdrom we produced for The Lowry Theater and Gallery, Salford Quays,
Manchester. The presentation had an interactive floorplan of The
Lowry which allowed the user to explore
the various gallery and theatre areas. The virtual tours on the CDROM
were of much higher quality and resolution than typical website virtual
tours due to faster loading times. The creative element of the cdrom
